The USATF Outdoor Championships are upon us once again and Track Barn has four athletes who are ready to compete for a chance to represent the USA at the 2022 IAAF World Outdoor Championships, the first Outdoor World Championships on U.S. soil. The competition is scheduled to air on USATF.tv from June 23-26 and takes place at Historic Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.
This year’s field on both the men’s and women’s sides looks to be a great one, per usual. On the men’s side, the competition features stars like Trayvon Bromell, Erriyon Knighton, and Michael Norman, the world leaders in the 100m, 200m, and 400m, respectively. Grant Holloway and Devon Allen are set to battle in the 110m hurdles as well, and JuVaughn Harrison will attempt another double in the long jump and high jump.
For the women, Tehna Daniels, Gabby Thomas, and legend Allyson Felix round out the sprints. Tara Davis, Vashti Cunningham and pole vault Olympic gold medalist Katie Nageotte will also be featured on the field event side of the competition.
